This accommodation is located on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site, which is a short bus journey (on the X1 or X2 buses) from the centre of Bournemouth. There are cluster flats with five or six bedrooms available.
You’ll have access to the hospital facilities when you live here, which include a tennis court, restaurants and a library.
All of the rooms are fully furnished with a single bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, wall shelves, pinboard, an easy chair and a wash basin.
Each flat has shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities, which are cleaned on a weekly basis.
The kitchens are fully equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and board, vacuum cleaner, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. All of your bedding, bath and hand towels will also be provided and can be changed weekly.
There are television points in all the flats’ lounges, but only the bedrooms in the six-bed cluster flats have individual TV points. You will be responsible for purchasing your own TV licence.
Onsite parking is available with a permit, which costs £19 a month. You can request one by contacting email@example.com.
It is approximately a 15-minute drive from Royal Bournemouth Hospital to our Lansdowne Campus.

Alternative accommodation in Bournemouth
BU’s halls of residence that are located on the Lansdowne Campus - Dorchester House, Purbeck House, Chesil House, Cranborne House and Lyme Regis House - are suitable alternatives if you will be undertaking your placements at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. You should note there is no parking at any of our halls of residence though.
One of our Unilet properties may also be suitable for you, as these are all located within easy reach of our campuses and some will be close to the hospital as well.
All types of hospital staff live onsite, from consultants to first-year nursing students and although the Accommodation Team tries to keep the different types of resident together, this is not always possible. Due to fire regulations, overnight guests are not permitted in single rooms.
Rent is payable monthly, with an invoice issued around the 15th of each month and this must be settled within 30 days of being issued. There is a £20 lock-out charge during the hours of 4:30pm - 9:00am.
