Our next Open Day is on 17 November
There really is no better way to explore everything BU and Bournemouth have to offer than by coming to see it all for yourself. At an Open Day, you’ll be able to:
- Speak to staff and students
- Find out about our courses
- See our fantastic on-campus facilities.
And why not make a day of it? Bournemouth and the local area has lots to offer.
Mini Open Days
Our Mini Open Days are a great alternative if you can’t make a full event. You’ll see our facilities on a guided tour by one of our Student Ambassadors and find out more about your course and student life at BU from our current students and staff:
Spring Open Days
If you’ve applied and hold an offer, or can’t make one of the dates above, join us in the spring:
Can’t make any of the dates above? Please register your interest to keep informed about future events:
Plan your day with the iBU app
After you’ve registered, we’ll send you loads of information about the Open Day in the build-up to the event – but the very best way to prepare is to download iBU, our official Open Day app.
This gives you access to a journey planner for the day, an interactive open day planner, course talk information, campus maps, student vlogs, a guide to Bournemouth, local business discounts and a social media wall.
Other ways to see BU:
Virtual Open Days
If you are unable to visit us in person, you may like to book your place on a Virtual Open Day instead. Register your interest to hear about the next undergraduate Virtual Open Day event.
Alternatively, you can take a look around our facilities and accommodation on our Virtual Tour:
Health & Social Care – Open Days at a study base near you
Our Bournemouth study location is represented at our Undergraduate Open Days above. We also offer other events at local study bases (Yeovil, Portsmouth) throughout the year.

International students – visit us at a time when it suits you
If you are from outside the UK and would like a tour of our campuses, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your planned visit to the UK, the course you are interested in and your country of residence. A member of our International team will contact you to make further arrangements. If you are in the UK, we'd love to meet you at one of our Open Days, tours or exhibitions.
