Help at hand

Student wellbeing

Going to university is a great experience, but there can be difficult times – which is why our support services are on hand to promote wellbeing for all our students.

We want all of our students to enjoy their BU experience and to stay healthy and happy, but if it’s your first time living away from home, university can take some getting used to.

Or if you’re struggling with aspects of your studies or personal life, you may need someone to talk to or somewhere to find advice.

We have a range of services – from our Wellbeing Advisors to our Medical Centre, and from our AskBU service to our Additional Learning Support scheme – that help whatever your needs.

And our Residential Assistants live in each of our accommodation blocks to provide assistance to new students and organise events and socials – helping our students get used to their new homes away from home.
