Res Life

What is Res Life?

Res Life is for you and your fellow students living in hall and Unilet. £1 of your weekly rent goes towards paying for the programme so we urge you to get the most from it during your time living with us. It is packed with useful, fun stuff: from food to sports, events to study tips, healthy eating to safety advice – as well as the latest on where to go and what to do. It’s your must-visit, must-share destination for getting the most out of living in halls and Unilet.

BU Res Life is all about creating an inclusive, friendly and supportive community in your hall or Unilet – so you can make the most of your time here.

Who is Res Life?

Well, if you're living in halls or Unilet then you are but also look out for your student Resident Assistants, who live in your hall or local area. They are student members of staff who organise social activities and are a friendly point of contact if you have any questions about your accommodation or what's going on in halls, on campus or in town.

There are also Welfare Co-ordinators living on site who are there to talk to if you ever need extra guidance or advice around matters of welfare and general well-being.

When do I find out more?

From mid-August we will be contacting our new residents to let them know more about what we have planned for you as well as inviting you to become a part of your community and start getting to know each other. The links to your hall or Unilet below will also go live to the offical Res Life Facebook pages, which will be your start to your new life here in BU accommodation. Once you've booked your room with us then watch out for communications letting you know how you can get involved.

By joining the below Facebook groups you will be able find the vast schedule of activities and events planned for you throughout the year so you don’t miss out on what’s to offer!
