Off air recordings - BoB

BoB is an on demand TV and radio recording service for education, available to all staff, researchers and students at BU and other subscribing institutions.

BoB allows you to:

  • record programmes from over 65 free-to-air channels, including some foreign language channels
  • schedule recordings in advance using a programme guide
  • search the archive of over 2 million broadcasts that other users have recorded
  • access a permanent archive of all broadcast content from nine channels: BBC1 London / BBC2 / BBC4 / ITV London / Channel 4 / More4 / Channel 5 / BBC Radio 4 / BBC Radio 4 Extra
  • manage off-air recordings in your own playlists, which can be shared with others
  • access the website both on and off campus. BoB is not available outside the United Kingdom however.
