About the conference
Bournemouth University’s (BU) annual undergraduate research conference – Showcasing Undergraduate Research Excellence (SURE) – returns for a third year in 2018. As well as giving students a supportive platform to showcase their work, it gives others at BU an insight into the excellent research undertaken by our undergraduates.
All undergraduate students at BU are eligible to apply, as are recent graduates. Examples of research could be anything from preparing for your dissertation or an essay to work carried out during your placement year to volunteering or work with academic societies. The key criteria is to be able to evidence your own critical thinking through your work.
Attending the conference
Registration for the conference is now open. All staff, students and members of the public are welcome to attend and tickets are free.
Space for the keynote speeches is limited and places will be prioritised for presenting students.
Free tickets can be booked via eventbrite.
Preparing for the conference
To help you prepare your presentation for the conference, the SURE team have put together a guide (pdf 496kb) to attending a conference and planning your presentation.
