We understand that finding the right place to live is really important when you're moving away from home to come to university. That's why we guarantee accommodation for all new undergraduate students who have selected BU as their firm choice and submitted their UCAS application by 15 January (UK/EU students) or 30 June (non-EU students).

We also guarantee accommodation for any postgraduate student who has booked their accommodation by 18 December 2015 by 5pm for students starting in January, and 18 August 2016 for those starting in September (full terms and conditions of our accommodation guarantee).

If you're aiming to start with us in September 2016, you'll find information about all of our accommodation options and a guide to the booking process below. Eligible students will be contacted within two weeks of their offer becoming Firm with details on how to register their interest in accommodation by completing Stage 1 of the accommodation portal.

No matter where you end up living, we want to make it easy for you to travel to our campuses, as well as Bournemouth town centre, so a bus pass is included in the price of your rent.

The prices quoted are for the 2015/16 academic year. The cost of accommodation for the 2016/17 academic year will be published in the spring of 2016.

Chesil House is a relatively small accommodation block - home to just over 200 students - on our Lansdowne Campus. There is a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate residents, making it a reasonably quiet and relaxed place to live.

Corfe House

Corfe House is one of the smaller accommodation blocks, home to around 300 students. It is located just a short distance from Poole Harbour - the flats on the upper floors have stunning views - and within walking distance of the centre of Poole, the train and coach station and a bus stop where you can jump on the U2 bus to reach both our campuses.

Cranborne House

Cranborne House is one of the lively accommodation blocks located on the Lansdowne Campus, home to around 500 undergraduate students. It is within walking distance of all our buildings on Lansdowne Campus, as well as the centre of Bournemouth and the Student Union-run nightclub The Old Fire Station.

Dorchester House is a vibrant accommodation block that’s home to 590 students, the majority of whom are undergraduates in their first year, although there are 60 postgraduate studio flats. Lyme Regis House

The Student Village is a small housing estate located on the edge of Talbot Campus. It’s a very peaceful location with plenty of green space.
