UK/EU student scholarships

Our scholarships are designed to reward excellence in all its forms, giving you additional support while you're studying with us.

Whether you have a passion for sport, love your music or simply want to make the most of your time at BU, our scholarships can give you more of what you enjoy. Use your scholarship to take advantage of Bournemouth’s top restaurants, or use it to pay for your new volleyball kit or violin lessons.

Full-time applicants who achieve AAA or above at A-level, or DDD or above at BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (or equivalent) £1,000 Automatically assessed

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Accounting, Finance and Economics)

Students who have chosen Accounting, Finance or Economics courses at BU as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Animation and Games)

Students who have chosen Animation or Games courses at BU as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Management)

Students who have chosen a Management courses as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Marketing and Communication)

Students who have chosen a Marketing or Communications course as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Nutrition)

Students who have chosen a Nutrition course as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018

Subject Achievement Scholarship (Psychology)

Students who have chosen Psychology as their firm choice, and can demonstrate a passion and commitment for their subject area Up to £10,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018
BU Music Scholarships Students who can demonstrate that they are a  talented musician or vocalist and been involved in ensemble activity £1,150 (major award) or £450 (minor award) Apply online by 31 August 2018 for September 2018 entry and 30 November 2018 for January 2019 entry 
BU Sport Scholarship High performing sportspeople with the desire to continue to develop £500 to £5,000 Apply online by 31 August 2018 for September 2018 entry and 30 November 2018 for January 2019 entry

BU International Partnership Scholarship: Universidad San Jorge, Spain (Faculty of Management)

Any student who has completed a relevant course at Universidad San Jorge, Spain £2,000 tuition fee reduction Automatically assessed

Unite Foundation Scholarship 

Any new UK applicant under the age of 25 who is either estranged from their parents or is a care leaver

3 years of free accommodation in Unite's student property  Apply online by 31 May 2018 for September 2018 entry
