Welcoming students from Hong Kong

We have a large community of international students at BU – currently just over 2,000 students from around 100 different countries and regions. At the moment, we have 16 students from Hong Kong studying with us on undergraduate courses, mostly in computer animation, tourism and hospitality and business studies.

We are always happy to welcome new students from Hong Kong onto our undergraduate, postgraduate, research and top-up courses. We also work closely with Kaplan International Colleges Hong Kong office, to provide a wide range to pathway courses for studying at BU.

We will help you with your application to study at BU, or you can speak to one of our representatives in Hong Kong who can offer assistance with your application. If you'd like more general advice about the UK education system, scholarships or the variety of courses on offer, you should contact the British Council in Hong Kong.

Support after graduation

Image of Tsz Kam YeungThe support from BU doesn’t just stop when you graduate. They still look after us even when we go back to our home country, through, for example, the alumni community. The Regional Manager would come to visit us making the continuing relationship more than just university and student. It’s more like an old friend coming to see you across the world. The way BU treats their alumni is one of the reasons that I chose to come back for Postgraduate study – because they really care about us." Written by Tsz Kam Yeung (Hong Kong), MSc Events Marketing
