BYOMA fees and funding

Besides a competitively priced collection of short courses, Bournemouth University offers a range of funding opportunities to support your studies.

Fees

The cost of each BYOMA short course is £850. Having completed three short courses making you eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate, you will be entitled to a 20% discount for future BYOMA short courses. The cost of the final Master's phase of the course, consisting of the MA Project and Exhibition units, is £2,000.

Further discounts

There is a 20% discount available for BU graduates and the immediate family members of permanent BU staff (sibling, parent, child, spouse, civil marriage partner).

Funding

BYOMA students who enrol on one of the BYOMA Master's named awards, to be completed over a two-year period, may be eligible for the government-backed loan for postgraduate students; a non-means tested loan allowing English and EU domiciled students to borrow up to £10,000 irrespective of the cost of their course.

Sources of funding for creative professionals are listed on the Creative Skillset website. Details of other external funding opportunities can be found at financial help for adult learners.

Many of our professional students receive funding from their employer. If your organisation is prepared to pay for your studies, you will need to complete a sponsorship form, issued upon offer of a place on the course.
