The Festival is an exhibition showcasing the designs, models and prototypes created by our design and engineering students as their final year project.
This year’s festival is open from 10am–4pm on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Monday 25 June. Please contact us if you are interested in bringing a group from a school or college.
Many students’ projects are a direct result of industry collaboration, and offer a solution to a real-life problem and result from practical issues experienced during their placement year.
Our philosophy to educating designers, engineers and technologists is a holistic approach to design and innovation, encompassing market need, function, technology, style and aesthetics. They will enter the world of business with the skills and knowledge to contribute to their success, ensuring economic sustainability and initiating more environmentally friendly processes.
Visited by industry and commerce, friends and family, schools and colleges, the festival is the go-to event for talent scouts to spot tomorrow’s designers and for teachers and careers advisers to inspire the next generation.
Introduced in 1992, this is one of the longest-running annual events in our history.
