After you graduate

We’re very proud of what our graduates achieve within their chosen professions and of the world-leading research they are involved with. One of our main aims during your time at BU is to prepare you for your next steps, whether that’s into the world of work or continuing your higher education through a Master’s degree.

I thought back to my time studying BA (Hons) Multimedia Journalism at BU, and I knew it was where I wanted to go for my Master’s. The facilities, the staff, and the reputation – they’re all there in one brilliant and vibrant campus.

90% of our students have relevant work experience when they complete their course and 93.6% of our UK-based graduates are in work or further study within six months of graduating, according to the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey 2014/15.

Across all of our undergraduate courses, we have accreditations from 33 different industry bodies, many of which can help you gain professional qualifications either before you graduate or shortly after you finish your degree. You’ll find specific information about each of our accreditations on the relevant course pages.
