With such a range of funding available, including loans, scholarships and bursaries, you're sure to find the right balance that meets your needs whilst you're at university. You can also be assured of the support and guidance if things don't go to plan or you're in financial difficulty, through our Students' Union Advice and AskBU Student Support team.

Funding eligibility for EU students

EU students applying for university places in the 2018/19 academic year will continue to be eligible for student fee loans and may be eligible for the government Maintenance Loan* - this will be for the duration of their course.

*EU nationals must have been resident in the UK for at least five years or be EEA migrant workers in order to apply for the government Maintenance Loan.

Fees

Our full-time tuition fees for UK/EU students for 2019/20 entry range from £6,000 for a Foundation degree to £9,250 for a Bachelor’s degree.

Our full-time tuition fees for international (non-EU) students for 2019/20 entry range from £9,500 for a Foundation degree and £13,750 - £14,500 for an undergraduate (BA/BSc/BEng) degree.

NHS finance information

If you’re starting a nursing, midwifery or allied health professional pre-registration course* in England after 1 August 2017, you'll be able to apply for loans to cover your tuition fee and living costs.
