We continue to invest in our campus facilities – £250 million by 2019 – so all our students can maximise their talents today and into the future.
Our Fusion Building, which opened in 2016, embodies our vision of academic Fusion – creating the most stimulating, challenging and rewarding university experience in a world-class learning community.
This innovative academic building features collaborative work spaces and independent study areas, as well as flexible seminar rooms, lecture theatres, research spaces, breakout areas and outdoor terraces – empowering our students to learn and interact in modern, dynamic ways.
Learning facilities
Our four academic faculties boast state-of-the-art facilities enabling students to build invaluable practical skills using industry-standard equipment.
Media students film in our high-definition, green-screen/motion capture TV studio; paramedics train in our fully functioning ambulance; sports psychologists work in our sports performance laboratory; and forensics students investigate in our crime scene training facility.
