BU Commonwealth Shared Scholarship (External Scholarship)

  • Any international applicants for LLM Public International Law who are resident in developing Commonwealth countries (pdf 330kb)
  • You must have achieved a minimum of a UK first-class Honours degree (or overseas euqivalent).

The BU Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is offered by BU in conjunction with the UK government. Students from developing Commonwealth countries who are applying for the above courses are eligible for the award.

The scholarship is paid as a full tuition fee waiver and as a monthly allowance for other expenses. 

You need to apply for this scholarship through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme website. If you have any questions about the application process or whether your qualifications are eligible, please contact BU’s International Admissions Team.
