Our pathway programmes, offered through Bournemouth University International College, are the ideal preparation for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at BU. By successfully completing one of these programmes, you are guaranteed entry onto a relevant degree course with us.
There are several pathway programmes you can study:
- Foundation certificates
On completion of a Foundation certificate, you can enter year one of a Bachelor’s degree at BU. Foundation certificates are offered in Business, Law and Finance; Computing; Media and Communications; Science;Tourism and Hospitality Management. - International Year One certificate
Completing this course will guarantee you entry onto year two of selected undergraduate degrees. You can currently take an International Year One certificate in Business or Media for fast-track progression in a number of related degrees. - Pre-Master’s courses
Like Foundation certificates, these courses are subject-specific. They are designed to prepare you for studying at a postgraduate level and are available in the subject areas of Business, Law and Finance; Media and Communication; and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
