Six simple ways to better learning

Make good notes

Good notes lead to good revision: focus on key words and concepts.

Try visual learning

Organise your material into infographics, flow charts, concept maps and spider diagrams.

Work in groups

Study groups spread the load and generate ideas, and are a great excuse to meet for coffee.

Don’t study in bed

Bed is for sleeping and TV and... but not for studying.

Be nice to yourself

Achieve a study goal, treat yourself; planning the treat in advance gives you motivation too...

Bore a child

Got a younger brother, sister, niece, nephew? Try explaining concepts to them – if they get it, you understand it, really well.
