  • At BU there is always someone who can help you.
  • In addition to the guidance you get from academics within your faculty you can also access the Study Skills area on Brightspace or the Study Skills tab on myBU, which contain a wide range of resources designed to help you develop your study skills.
  • The Study Skills area/ tab also offer the opportunity to ask questions, sign up to a range of workshops (which are run regularly during the year), or arrange to meet an advisor for one-to-one help. You can also follow us on Facebook.

Language support

  • While you are at BU you can also take the opportunity to learn a new language or improve your existing language skills.
  • We have a wide range of resources in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and Arabic which you can access from anywhere and at any time.
  • If English isn’t your first language, you can also use our resources to help you improve your use of English.
  • Our Language Adviser can help you find the most suitable resources for your particular needs.
