Exam periods for the academic year 2023/24
The planned exam periods are as follows:
Summer: Monday 20 - Friday 24 May 2024
Resits: Thursday 1 - Friday 9 August 2024
Please note: Exams that are not listed on the timetable are managed within faculties, please ensure that you contact your Programme Support Officer if you need additional information or for any queries.
Student ID cards
To sit your exams you will need your BU student ID card - if you do not have your ID card you should request a replacement before attending your exams. If you are not able to obtain a replacement ID card then you can use a photo ID, i.e. passport or driving licence.
External exam venues
Ambassador Suite & President Suite
The Carrington House Hotel, Knyveton Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH1 3QQ.
The hotel car park is quite small and operates on a first come first served parking basis. The car parking is free of charge and can not be booked in advance. There are alternative public pay and display car parks near the hotel. For more information visit the Carrington House Hotel website.
Citygate Auditorium
Citygate Centre, 138a Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, BH8 8AS
The Citygate Centre is situated next to Dorchester House, opposite Bournemouth train station, the U1 bus stops directly outside the entrance. There is NO parking available at the Citygate Centre, but there are pay and display car parks nearby; see the Citygate website for more information.
Please DO NOT use Halfords or Office Outlet car parks as these are for customers only. There are also time limits and charges for the ASDA car park.
