As part of a wider landscaping project due to take place at Talbot Campus, the Open Access Centre in Dorset House will be demolished over the summer. The works will be staggered so access can be maintained to the main entrances of The Sir Michael Cobham Library and Dorset House.
The first phase will see hoardings placed around the Open Access Centre from Monday 1 August and pedestrian diversions will be put in place. The routes will change during the second phase and details will be publicised closer to the time.
The demolition itself will be carried out from Monday 8 August, to mid-September.
To replace these facilities, a brand new IT Open Access Centre is being created on the ground floor of Poole House and will open in September 2016.
