Developing our campuses

The Estates Development Team is responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, delivery and commissioning of estates construction projects and non-project/business as usual activities.

We have many excellent facilities across our campuses, which we are continually developing and updating. To better reflect the innovative and collaborative way our students and staff work together, we and our partners are investing around £250 million in our facilities by 2019, constructing new buildings and redesigning our campuses.

Our campuses are maintained by the Estates Facility Management Team who ensure the buildings, social and collaborative spaces and outside areas are always clean, safe and accessible. Take a look at our sustainability pages to learn more about our green campuses and check out some of our excellent learning facilities.

See below information on our key current developments and recently completed projects.

Poole Gateway building

Poole Gateway Development

The Poole Gateway Building will be located at the eastern end of the Talbot Campus, facing Boundary Roundabout and creating a visual gateway to the campus. It will provide high-quality technical facilities that support undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as research.
